Well, tonight is the night when we again can watch the antics of our favourite Survivors! We will also find out who will be the fourth member of the jury!
I really hope that Sue can stop hating on Kyle. She seems nice enough to his face, I wonder why she dislikes him so strongly when he is not around? Surely it’s not only because he voted for her once at their very first tribal council? Sue must be feeling pretty alone right now after she was suprised when her right hand woman Caroline had a hand in voting out her right hand man Gabe. Sue is a very strong woman so hopefully she can survive this because I really enjoy watching her play. I could never play as hard as she does, she’s amazing!
Regarding my observations last week about Sue’s dirty face, I looked it up on the internet to find some answers and people have several ideas about why her face was dirtier than anyone else’s face.
- One reason could be that the sunlight and salt water is damaging to the skin on her face because of all the beauty work she’s had done. I don’t know much about that kind of thing, but it might be possible, and if it is true, then shit, that sucks!
- Another option is that perhaps, like many women her age, myself included, she might have facial hair that grows in after a couple days, and the dirt is her attempt to hide the hairs from the cameras. That, I could totally relate too, and if I were in her position I am just vain enough to attempt to do the same thing.
- A final option I’ve read is that she might know that salt water might be damaging to her facial skin because of the work she has had done, and perhaps she avoids washing her face to minimize the damage to her skin. If this is the reason, then I (kindly and way too late) suggest she use drinking water from the well to wash her face.
I’m looking forward to tonight’s episode!
Recaps remind us that both Rachel and Sue have a hidden immunity idol that almost nobody knows about. In Sue’s case a couple people know, but Rachel has been able to keep it secret. That Andy sees him self as the smiling asassin. That Caroline risked her alliance with Sue to target Gabe with the others.
Returning to camp, Sam hugs Kule and tells him that we’re doing this. Teeny and Rachel hug him too, it’s hard to say goodbye to a friend. Kyle admits that he likes Gabe and will miss him. Kyle feels all alone and trusts no one, feels like he will have to keep winning immunity in order to stick around. Rachel approaches Sue with compassion and Sue expresses relief that it wasn’t her. She feels crushed that she couldn’t even trust Caroline anymore. She can’t believe that Kyle is still here, he really turns her stomach.
-opening credits-
A rainy morning, gosh it is so beautiful there. Players are cold and miserable. Sue expresses how she is miserable and all alone. Caroline hugs her, Sue stays rigid beside her, but speaks gently to Caroline. Caroline knows that their relationship is over. She hopes that by talking with Sue she can get her back on track. Sue says, “I just don’t like un-loyal people, it’s nothing against YOU.” Caroline explains that she wanted to play her own game, not Gabes game, and has wanted to play since she was five years old. She tells us about her struggle with ADHD. Sue continues to say all the right things to Sue, and in private she confirms that she still feels they can work together.
Andy, Rachel and Teeny gather at the well and call themselves an alliance. Caroline and Sue join them. Conversation lightens and focuses on how Sue is doing. Rachel says that she feels good about this group of five. Teeny confirms it. Everyone nods. Rachel wants to get rid of Genevieve, Kyle and Sam. Sue says she only wants Kyle gone. Andy confirms in private that he also feels good about that group.

Back at camp Kyle, Sam and Genevieve talk about how “those five” are probably going to try to tick off the three of them. Genevieve suggests that if there are people that people just want to sit with at the end, maybe they should just take out those people. Genevieve explains to us that she doesn’t want to bond with people in this game, it hurts too badly to kill their dreams. Sam tells us that he doesn’t want to play deceptively anymore, and he displays open honestly as he talks with Kyle and Genevieve. Kyle admits that he cannot vote with his emotions instead of strategy because it hurts his inner self. Genevieve knows exactly what he is talking about. Teeny and Rachel return to camp and sit with them. Andy and Caroline are there too. I didn’t see Sue, but I assume she is there too. Is this everyone now? Is anyone missing? Andy begins to second guess the plans that he made with the five, because he likes Sam, Kyle and Genevieve too. He understands that he can arrange the pieces how he wants too.
A motor boat approaches so they all run to the beach. Sam holds the note and a purple bag. One person must get on this boat for a journey. If you cannot agree, whoever draws the purple rock will have to go. They talk about who wants to go. Genevieve, Rachel, Sam all want to go. Rachel doesn’t really want to go, but she doesn’t want Sam or Genevieve to get an advantage. Rachel draws the purple rock and off she goes.

Rachel’s boat takes her to a floating dock in the middle of the ocean. She gets off the boat and sees a wooden frame with colourful balls in six columns. She has to arrange the balls so there is one colour ball per column. If she can do this before the last weight pulls the puzzle and her advantage off the dock and into the ocean. If she succeeds, she will win whatever that advantage is. If she fails she will lose that advantage as well as her vote at the next tribal.
Rachel throws the first weight into the ocean and then runs to begin work on the puzzle. She tells us that at home something she likes to do is set a timer and then complete a puzzle or an activity. Remembering this might help her to relax about this challenge. Rope unwinds and the next weight falls into the ocean. There are about five weights before her puzzle is pulled into the ocean. Rachel completes the puzzle in the nick of time! Well done, woman!
The advantage is to secretly block a vote from another player. The last time it can be used is when there are six players left in the game.

Rachel returns to the beach and everyone goes to welcome her back. Rachel has thought about what to tell everybody, she knows that some people won’t believe what she says no matter what. She decides to be 99% honest. She tells them everything except that she got the advantage, and she says instead that she lost her vote. As predicted, Sam doesn’t believe her. Later she tells Caroline and Sue. When Rachel shared that with her, Sue said that she felt very bonded to her. Rachel asks if they agree that she should also tell Andy and Teeny and they give her the go ahead. Teeny is comforted to feel trusted by Andy and Rachel. Rachel seems to have a trusted group of three with both of these duos.
Genevieve asks Rachel if Rachel would be interested to target someone that people want to bring to the end, like Sue and Andy – assuming Kyle wins immunity again. To her face, Rachel agrees. In private, Rachel tells the cameraman that Genevieve is more dangerous than anyone else. Rachel tells Andy what Genevieve asked her, Andy now wants Genevieve out next. He is offended, too, that she feels that he is being carried along to the end. Andy hates it when people underestimate him.

Challenge time. It’s an immunity challenge. Jeff checks in with Kyle, who talks about how he will be happy to have his family with him and with a plate of food in front of him. Sue’s eyes tear up. Jeff asks her and she expresses how proud she is of herself to be playing this game so well. Andy backs her up that it’s hard, they are tired and emotional, but they are DOING this!
Players will use a rope to balance a wobbly table to stack letter blocks. The first person to spell Immunity, wins Immunity. No No reward is mentioned, just a win and someone voted out tonight. Some people spell out the word first and stack it upside down for easy retrieval later, when the pressure is on. Players have to walk a distance, holding the rope, which in turn holds the table steady, deposit a letter block, and then return to the start and do it all again. Several people get very close to completion and then their stacks fall.
Rachel wins with Kyle steps behind her. The five are very happy. Kyle looks concerned, but he seems to understand that it’s just a game and if it is his time to go tonight, so be it. Rachel has been so very lucky in this game, eh? Good for her!
Teeny says that they’ve been waiting a long time to vote Kyle out.

The tribe returns to camp after the immunity challenge. Everyone congratulates Rachel. Rachel asks Kyle where she is supposed to hang it. Rachel tells us that it is an easy vote to vote out Kyle tonight, however, she’d be okay with voting out Genevieve or Sam too. Kyle goes to lay on a hammock and kind of watches while the five plot to vote him out. Sue and Teeny want to vote him out. Sam and Caroline say that they agree. Genevieve would like Kyle to stay, but she will vote with the group. She hopes to hide behind Kyle, as long as people will think that Kyle is a bigger threat than she is. Sam wants to get people on board to save Kyle, but Genevieve doesn’t think it’s worth it.
Andy talks directly to Kyle and asks if he has an idol. Kyle tells him that he doesn’t. Kyle tries to start with building relationships with key people. Andy assures him that he wants to do Genevieve next, not Kyle. We will see if Andy can work his magic with all the power that he thinks that he has. It looks to me that it will either be Kyle or Genevieve going to jury tonight. Most likely Kyle – though I agree that Genevieve is more of a fighter than Kyle is. And gosh darn it, Kyle is such a sweet delight to have in the game, such a wholesome fella.

Tribal. Kyle has a look on his face that looks like dread. And Sue’s beautiful face is nice and clean. Players debate the strategy of taking out the power players first, and who exactly is a power player. I think Caroline is going to vote with Sue tonight, but I can’t predict anyone else.
Jeff has the votes, no advantages are played. Genevieve, Kyle, Teeny, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle.
Kyle goes to jury tonight. Aww, my Survivor Supper pals will be so dissappointed this weekend when we watch this show again! Kyle tells everyone to line up and take his hugs. Tells them all to put in a buck twenty for their families. He hugs Jeff too, thanks him for the game. Calls out bye to everybody. Such a classy guy.

In next week previews Sue, Caroline, Rachel and Teeny crow about how they will be the final four women. Genevieve creates a fake idol and talks about pulling this heist off.
Looking forward to the next episode, and so glad to have “met” Sol and Kyle who played their games with such class.
Good evening! The Show just started a few minutes ago here (MT), but I like reading up to see “in advance,” so it works out. lol
Hope Kyle doesn’t get the boot… one of the nicer guys.
Andy’s unfounded ego is annoying.
Well, poop. LOL
