Chocolate Drop Cookies
In a medium sized pan on the stove, bring the following to a boil:
½ cup Butter
½ cup Milk
2 cups Sugar
6 Tablespoons Cocoa
½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
While this all heats up, mix the following together in a large bowl:
3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Shredded Coconut
Once the hot stuff boils and bubbles, then pour it on the dry stuff in the bowl.
Stir it quickly and well.
Drop by spoonful’s onto waxed paper and let cool and harden.
Consider alternate dry stuff:
Bigger flakes of Coconut
Salted Peanuts or Almonds or Hazelnuts
Chow Mein Noodles, crunched
Just consider protein content or fibre content and make sure the total equals about 4 cups
