Beppe’s Tomato Soup Cake recipe
“Beppe” is the nickname of love my children had for the woman who is the mother of their father.
One of the things my husband remembers fondly about his mother is that she would bake this delicious cake. Beppe passed on to peace back in 1998. One way to honour her memory is to bake her cake once in a while.
When I asked her for the recipe, this is what I received:
Tomato Soup Cake
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 can Campbell’s Tomato Soup
- 1 and ½ cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Cloves
- 1 cup Raisins
350 degrees for 40 minutes
