I spoke with a lady I admire who works a the desk of the office of my boss and learned that her hands get very dry in winter. I offered some winter balm, but sadly, she is allergic to the poplar tree. Afterwards I went home and created an edited winter balm that contains nothing that would irritate her body. It’s called, “CALLA Winter Balm”.
This fragrant winter balm was created without anything from the Cottonwood Poplar tree.
It’s made with a lot of organic Canadian Beeswax, so the final product is hard in it’s tin, and you’ll need to use the front of your nail to scrape some off the top. That said, once you’ve got some on your hand, your body heat immediately begins to melt it and it spreads quite easily across the skin, creating a beewax barrier between your skin and all the things that dry it out.
Calla Winter Balm contains: Organic Canadian Beeswax, Wintergreen, Peppermint, and Castor oils.
I made about a dozen of these, so if you would like to buy one, just contact me. $15 for a 4oz contatainer.
