Hello and Happy Hallowe’en Eve!! Only an hour until Survivor 47 Episode 7 begins in the Toronto time zone, and as usual, I’ll be watching it from Alberta via Stack TV!!!
What will happen tonight? What will the merged tribe feel like without Rome in it? Who will they all complain about now? Stay tuned, it won’t be long until we know!
Watching the review, I remember that Andy wonders who voted for him and one of them was Sol. LAVO has three remaining members, GATA has four remaining members, but TUKU only has one player out.
BEKA Tribe returns to camp. Alone together, Andy calls out Sol why did he vote against him. As Andy pressures for more information, Sol caves and tells him that it was Sam who told Sol that Andy was the backup. Andy tells Sol that he now realizes that he needs real protection from some REAL allies, is Sol interested in being that for him? Sol says he absolutely is. At the moment, Andy now plans to gun for his GATA tribemates, we will see how long that is his focus.
-opening credits-
Everyone sleeps, but Andy sits alone on the beach. Flashbacks suggest that he is thinking about Sam and Sierra and what he learned about them from Sol. He realizes that he is their third wheel and expendable. He now wants to build a group of people that he can really count on. Genevieve joins him, tells him that she lost her ally last night. They decide to not be singles together. Genevieve says that they can tell each other what they hear from other people, and together know more than they would know alone. Andy shares a vision with Genevieve that he has. The sun begins to rise, they remain alone together on the beach, feeling a little less alone.
-commercials-
Everyone is gathered around the fire talking about sports they like. Genevieve walks in with tree mail. Tree mail warns that there is a tribal council coming up. Rachel looks forward to joiing together with other women. Teeny likes that idea too, and wants all the remaining women to make it to the jury. Teeny wants to form an all female alliance and eat all the men. They discuss which men to target first. Tiyana points out that Gabe is dangerous. I don’t think Sue was present when she said that.
It’s time for a challenge.
Jeff takes the immunity necklace back from Kyle. They will stand on a narrow beam, balance a ball on the end of a long pole which in turn they will balance on their head or over their shoulders. Players will keep moving to narrower parts of the beam to stand on as the challenge continues. They are randomly divided into two groups of six. Everyone on the team of the one person who lasts the longest wins immunity for their whole group. The person who lasts the longest for the losing group wins individual immunity for only themselves. So one of only five people will be voted out. There is a reward meal for the winning team: baby back ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob, beer, soft drinks.
Jeff hands out the colour stones.
- Yellow team is: Genevieve, Teeny, Sol, Sierra, Andy, Sam.
- Blue team is: Sue, Caroline, Rachel, Tiyana, Gabe, Kyle = The whole TUKU tribe plus Rachel. Assuming that TUKU will vote as a unified group, Rachel might be in trouble. Jeff plays that up. But lets not forget that Tiyana wants to target Gabe.

First section: Andy out. Rachel out. Second section: Sierra out. Tiyana out. Sol out. Third section: Sue out. Fourth section: Gabe out. Caroline out. Sam out. Kyle out. It’s over. Kyle won individual immunity. Genevieve and Teeny were still standing for their group, but they don’t need to compete because their whole team won immunity. I love the way Kyle responds to things, he so sincere. So present. Caroline comments to the camera that Rachel would be an easy vote, but voting Rachel out might not be the smart move.

Genevieve, Teeny, Sol, Sierra, Andy and Sam enjoy their feast together and chat about how they think the vote will go. They are going to be unable to vote, but they will be able to watch how tribal council plays out. Sam says that if TUKU votes out Rachel, then he would like to see the winning six vote together against TUKU, start knocking them off. Teeny says that she thinks there will be an idol in play, because an idol was played at the last tribal. The group discusses the likelihood of there being an idol in play, the camera keeps focusing on a little package hidden in a boquet beside the picnickers.
Sue, Caroline, Tiyana, Gabe and Kyle … and even Rachel, talk about the obvious choice to get Rachel out. Gabe tells Sue that Rachel will definitely play her shot in the dark. Kyle tells Tiyana that Gabe isn’t worried about Rachel using the shot in the dark. Tiyana, however is correct when she says that she knows that LAVA and GATU will team up against TUKU. Tiyana tells Kyle that this would be a great opportunity to get Gabe out. They know that they can’t tell Sue, and they decide that Tiyana will tell Rachel. Tiyana tells her that she is going to pretend that it is five strong, but she would like to vote out Gabe. They realize, however, that Caroline needs to be brought into this, but I wonder, will Caroline be able to not tell Sue?

The winning team lays down after their feast. Andy begins to look around for the advantage, which to my eye, is in a boquet against Sol’s back. Sierra notices that Andy is looking for an advantage. Genevieve is concerned about Andy openly searching for an advantage. Sol gets up and starts looking for an advantage, he walks AWAY from what his own back was up against, where it was…oh, but then he sees it. He sits right back down with his back against it again. He watches everyone carefully to make sure that they are not looking at him when he grabs it and stuffs it in his shorts as smooth as anything. Everyone begins to sit up and talk some more.
The tribal council team has Tiyana and Caroline talking about what to do. Caroline also recognizes that they will tick TUKU off one by one. But Caroline points out that when they go after us, they won’t be going after US. She figures that they will go after Kyle as soon as he doesn’t win immunity. Then Gabe. She also believes that Rachel is the most dangerous player, even though she really likes Rachel.
Gabe talks with Rachel, he also points out that if they go back without Rachel the other team would target them and that Gabe would be high on that list. He suggests targeting Caroline. Gabe’s goal is to stop Rachel from playing her shot in the dark.
Rachel feels that either TUKU is completely playing her, or she has a chance.
Most of the feasters are playing baseball, while Sol sneaks out to read his letter. He can impact tonights tribal council by choosing someone who is actively playing in tribal council and pass this advantage on to a person of his choice. From what I can recall of the note, it said that he wins an advantage, but there is a price. The price was that he gives it to someone, but there was a list of possible advantages to choose from, and I wonder if that list is for himself to determine. Personally I hope that he gives it to Tiyana or Rachel or Kyle, but you might already know that I am partial to those three. I’m not as fond of Gabe because of how he views people as something to use, and I’m not as fond of Sue and Caroline for being blind to the fact that Gabe does not see them as anything other that tools to be used for his own purposes. Other than that, I really like each of these three as unique and impressive people, but I just don’t like their dynamic as a trio: Two are blind and overtrusting. One is a manipulator.

Tribal council. The winning team takes their seats first, then the voting portion of the tribe enters with their torches and take the central positions. Will Sol give his advantage? Who will he give it to? What will the person he gives it to do with it? What will happen? How will this change things? Whoever they vote home tonight is the last person who will not make the jury.
After the discussion and just before time to vote, Rachel says that she has a scroll in her pocket. Sol looks at her like he has no idea how it happened. She can leave tribal council immediately. She cannot vote but she will not be voted out tonight. Suddenly TUKU has to vote for only themselves. Sol is acting like he has no clue. As Rachel makes her way out, she walks past the six and says, “Thank you whoever you are!”

I love that TUKU is going to have to vote out one of their own. They were expecting their enemies to tick them off one by one, but now they have to do it themselves. TUKU is silent as they watch Rachel walk away. Tiyana talks about how devastataing it would be to miss out on jury at this point. While she speaks and sobs, everyone behind her whispers. Tiyana gets up to join in with the plotting. Everyone begins whispering. Will it be Gabe? Sue? Tiyana? Caroline? Everytime a new group talks, they target a different person. Whoever was counting on Rachel’s vote has lost it, now they might be in the minority. Whoever was targeting Rachel now needs to set their sights on someone else.
No advantages are played, Jeff reads the votes: Gabe, Tiyana, Tiyana, Tiyana
Heartbroken, Tiyana leaves, crying.
- Caroline: Tiyana
- Gabe: Tiyana
- Kyle: Tiyana
- Sue: Tiyana
- Tiyana: Gabe
Next week there will be a Survivor Auction.
